Have you tried a repeater? Many wireless router manufacturers are now selling repeaters to increase the distance. There are also many different antennas available that will increase the range as well. On one of our routers we switched from the built-in antenna to a high gain one that is connected to the router by a cable which lets us position the antenna where its signal has less interference.

Recently I moved my house. It is much bigger than the old one. To make the thing even worse, the computer room is in first floor left corner, but my bed room is in the 2nd floor right corner. The straight-line distance is about 35-meter, and sure there are many walls between them. If I bring my laptop to the computer room or rooms near it, the Internet connection works normally. But in my own bed room, the signal is unavailable. Is there any way to solve this problem to make the Internet connecttion work while keep the router and my PC in conveinent position. Thanks! ____ ?
