And the greatest value of top posting (top posting? bottom posting? are you sure these are wise terms to use?) is that you don't have to do 20 scrolls for a one-line comment that you don't understand anyway!
Often, on lists of course, the comments are interspersed anyway. But I do agree that the best thing is if people (including onself!) snip away.
