If you're using an email client and you wish to ensure that you reply to the 
list, but want to create a new thread, just hit "Reply" on any message, then 
highlight and change the subject line appropriately (which you did in this 
case), then highlight and delete the entire original message body (the step you 
left out) and type in your new message.

Alternatively, if you are using an email client like OE or one of the others 
with this capability, and you have "Add recipients to which I reply to my 
address book" set, the wdvltalk list address will be in your address book (or 
you can just add it manually, of course). In either event, just click "Create 
Mail" (OE) to start a new message, then "To:" to open your address book and 
select the address. Now you're good to go.

Using the Web interface, look to the upper-right of the messages list and 
you'll find a button labeled "Create New Message." This will have the same 
effect as paragraph two above. To change a thread while maintaining a reference 
to the original, see the subject line above.
