I'm looking to start a web development blog with multiple authors. Most of
the geniuses I know are here :) so I am turning to you to see if there is
anyone who is interested.

I have been with this list for eight years or more and have learned so much
from it. With the help of many of you (especially you old-timers) I have
grown my business from a small operation in my living room to a large
operation in my bedroom (and I'm making a whole lot more money). I think
there are those who do not subscribe to this list who would benefit greatly
from a collaborative blog where the experts on this list wax eloquent on the
subjects that matter most to them.

It would pretty much be a straightforward blog. Probably similar to
www.kottke.com -- all you would have to do is write entries as you want and
to put up links to websites of interest.

The only stipulations would be that you stay on-topic, keep it clean (no
references to adult material/subjects), and write at least one entry a week.

As I said, the topic would be web development; that includes design. My
goal is to get the site as a premier source of those knowledgeable in their
field of expertise, whether it is programming, design, usability, textual
content, adsense, css, or web standards. This would not be a site where the
contributors would discuss anything off-topic and inflammatory like politics
and religion.

We have such a wide-range of experience, I think the website would be quite
good.

I want to limit the number of contributors to 15-ish.

This is probably off-topic, so just send me an email if you are interested
and let me know what topics you would enjoy writing.

If there is enough people interested, I will probably set the site up next
weekend.

Thanks,
Will
