I am running our Parish Website and we want to add the weekly newsletter.

My problem is that the lady that does the typing of this is not very computer savvy. She can manage to produce it in Word and I have shown her how to upload it using an ftp program. So far so good.

However, I can't get it to show when called. I just get a blank screen. Ideally we'd like to have the same colour background as the rest of the site (which ties in with our diocese) but that's NOT essential. In any case she's using an old copy of Word (95 I think) and it doesn't display the same range of colours as I have with 2000.

I've copied her document into a template and uploaded it and then it loads fine - but she doesn't have any html skills and at a time when she's drawing her pension and just doing this as something to keep her interested, she's not interested in learning anything else.

I'm not always available on a Friday to do the upload (and will be out of the country for six weeks later this year) so that is a non-starter and why we are trying to find some way of getting her document to upload direct.

Can anyone suggest something that is absolutely dead simple and idiot proof? (Not that she is - but you know what I mean!!) There is no budget to buy any software either! (I did toy with the idea of installing a copy of Dreamweaver on her machine as I could make sure I wasn't using it that day and then it was on another machine of mine (!!!) but when she saw it she nearly freaked out! So that's another idea washed out!)

TIA

Peter MacGregor
