You might want to reconsider this policy. On no less than three occasions I have sent error reports and immediately had an IE window open notifying me that MS had determined the cause of the error (one of which had been introduced by an MS update) and had a fix available for download. One was particularly annoying, throwing an "Invalid Operation" error every time I shut down and on restart. After d/l and install of the fix, problem gone.

If you're worried about what's being sent, you're offered the option to view it, although unless you grok hex, assembler, registers, stacks, etc. it probably won't make a hell of a lot of sense. It's a useful tool that shouldn't be discounted.
