If I was using IE, my text resizer widget would be of no use, so if that was the only browser I had, I'd be hitting the back button right away on arrival, never to return. Your settings are probably such that the sizes you used are probably just fine for you and others with similar settings, but many users don't use those settings, and many have eyes that are poorer than average. Browser makers provide users with a preference adjustment precisely so that they can optimize to the size that best suits their vision, hardware, and physical & software settings. Let your visitors be able to use your site without fighting through this unnecessary basic usability/accessibility obstacle.
