Hi, I'm hoping someone's run into this situation themselves so I thought I'd ask. I've a client who has become bit of a victim of her success. She's got a a form that's giving her results between 50-200 results a day - and not spaming results either. She espected it to be maybe 5-10 a day. It collects a person's name, address, email address and two checkbox statements to ensure they're okay and aware that this is a mailing list. The results arrive in my client's email box, one email for each person. A real time eater putting it into the program she uses for printing labels.
So now she wants me to find some way where the form results are writen to a database or a spread sheet that she can then either email the accumulated results each day in a single document, or collect it from some admin interface. I don't write scripts, she isn't a computer wiz where she's going to be able to use FTP or other more advanced efforts, and it's a non-profit so low cost to none solutions necessary. So you know she's got her site on a Win2000 server. Using microsoft databases are allowed on her site. It pretty much needs to be installed on her site, but if that's pushing it, I'll certainly listen to other solutions. Anyone have ideas? Help much appreciated. I'm searching around, but there's so many hits for mailing list scripts and software it's proving very difficult to weed out what I need.
