Thanks. Yes I think you are in the right area, and I will try to get to it
later today. I have already made a bit of change, but I need a quiet spell
to compare the files [the 'comments' rss on the sidebar works, but not the
'entries' and neither on the footer].
And first I have to remember if I am using 'classic' or 'default' theme ;-o
. I have been using validator, which even complains about the 'comment'
link that works - no pleasing some scripts!

I checked this link... I don't know if you have changed anything but at
the
time I checked there was an infinite 302 error... This means that the
folder
is constantly redirecting to itself
If that's the error then it's not a problem with the RSS itself, rather
the
setup of the directory
A good resource for feed checking is http://feedvalidator.org
Of course, I may have misread the question or a subsequent reply... If so
then sorry... I'm having one of those mobile goalpost days :)
