Riva,

As you are discovering 'ebook' covers a lot of things. Really it depends what you are trying to make and why (ie where is it to be used or sold).

If you are looking at a pdf or html [which are the most common] you can do a lot worse than use Serif PagePlus [I think it is version 11 now]. It is a pretty easy program to use, and gives many of the features of more expensive systems, and its price (specially if you do a deal) is not too damaging to the pocket.

You will find it very easy to include illustration, graphic or photo and it can handle any size.

I think the main site is www.serif.com - and i have no connection with them, except I've bought a few of their programs.

Does anyone know how you go about creating an eBook? I have converted articles into PDF format, but I would imagine that a whole book is a little more complicated. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Riva
