Not sure about older versions of word, but basically save it to
whichever folder you select.  When you click "File... Export File..."
there should be a dialog to save to some directory (mine defaults to "My
Documents").  You can either select or type in, such as "c:\temp" or
whatever.  Check the MSDN and/or Technet at Microsoft.com for specifics.
