Thanks for the link Cheryl, but this is the poor man's outlook -
Outlook Express. In the identity affected I have five
addresses which are checked, one of which is redirect only and
three of which work practically every time. But one address has
spells of not connecting through OE even when Chrysanthemum has
just downloaded headers from it.
So I am at a loss; if it never downloaded that would be clear.
I can't think what might cause intermittent problems for just one
address.
The smtp server seems to work fine...
