Brilliant both; I should have known! The rust is deep.
I have just changed a gif to png because the gif didn't show
transparency. Is that a usual problem?
/me drifts back through time and vaguely recalls something about
saving GIFs as GIF89a format for transparency...
Did you enable the "transparency" option when the GIF was created?
If the PNG works, I'd stick with it for the time being! :o)
