Where in the world are they coming from?
I viewed it in MS5.0 on NT.
First, it opens itself into a new window. Looks like they do this so
they can use all your screen real estate, as if I don't know how to
use it.
Then everything seems to be an image. Every time I clicked on
something I was going to leave when I realized images were loading.
I can't imagine what this would be like on 28.8.
Most people just don't seem to have a clue what the web was all
about. Most people still don't. I just showed a "computer person"
deja news. I told them that I often seek answers to my questions via
deja news and I explained about usenet; they had no clue.
I love the things that can be done with java and javascript and other
client specific actions, but you must understand what you are getting
into when you do it.
BTW, our client has installed the java navigation script. I bet it
would be down in 2 weeks. It has lasted one week so far. I just
discovered that they thought this new java navigation would help
drive traffic to the site. ...What ...., how in the world would that
work? I just dont' see the connection unless they are hoping to get
referrals from java site showing examples of java in use (not exactly
their target audience). Oh well.
