Hello,
This is an odd one. I put server-side includes in a slew of fiels,
tarred and gzipped on NT and then uploaded to digital unix and
ungzipped and untarred.
Worked Fine.
Then I called the customer and he asked why this error was occurring
on the top of each page.
Incredible as it sounds the server-side includes failed when he
requested the pages but worked for me. I would never have believed it
but I looked in the log files there it was:
> [Tue Mar 30 15:18:33 1999] unable to include "/ssi/feedback.txt" in
> parsed file
> /usr/users/abhome/public_html/tips/furniture/care_for_wood_furniture.h
> tml [Tue Mar 30 15:24:34 1999] unable to include "/ssi/header.txt" in
> parsed file /usr/users/abhome/public_html/survey/index.html
But they worked for me. I consider this very odd. I just went back
and inserted the headers in all the pages (easy for me to do) and
uploaded without using the ssi.
Anyone with clues appreciated.
Peter
