Sounds an awful lot like the great Internet cleanup chain e-mail that went
out around last leap-year-day. Almost definitely an April Fool item,
although it's hard to say whether the station is in on the joke or not...
An interesting question, though...how actionable would such a joke be? Is
there any case history that'd support a lawsuit if someone took the
station's report seriously and didn't bother to check things out any
further?
