you can tell the eloquent idiot on the other end of reason that at least on
a mac, it's easy to install nt, as opposed to installing it on an intel box

at home i use virtual pc on a mac 8600/250 and actually have no trouble at
all; at work i use a pc, alongside a mac and boy oh boy...

anytime i ask something simple like: "install a second browser", those guys
with all their experience and titles go like "yes, well, you know ..." and
that means a lecture on the intricacies of the os and how wonderful the next
version will be (needless to say that most of the time my -in my eyes
simple- questions take months and months to implement, while i can do all
those things on a mac without having to resort to command-line-type
solutions, and without having to have a grade in computerwizzzzzar(s)dness)
