Spam King Forges Unholy Alliance
In a bizarre turn of events, Sanford Wallace, the former "King of Spam,"
announced that he will testify against spammers as an expert
witness/consultant
for the very law firm which, this past March, won a US$2 million
lawsuit against
him on behalf of Earthlink Network Inc.
"This is a wonderful twist of fate," said Wallace, whose
announcement was titled
"Former Spam King Teams Up With Former Nemesis." "This is like the FBI hiring
hackers to help track down hackers," Wallace added.
The "unholy alliance" was born during the settlement negotiations with
Earthlink's Atlanta-based law firm, Hunton & Williams, when a friendship of
sorts was forged between Wallace and Earthlink's chief litigator,
