There are many other tools that do that.

translation: then you hack the given method because it doesn't work.

Por qua? (sp?) Why do you alter the output?

Depends on the direction the newbie wants to take in the long run. Seems a
lot easier to learn how to do things "right" (please no new thread on my use
of this word) by starting with:
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE></TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
</BODY>
</HTML>
plus a few tags to get started: <p><br><table><tr><td><img>
How long can it take to learn that? Much less time than it takes to figure
out what all the menus do in FP, prolly. It gives power to the user, not
dinero to MS. The learning curve is probably much shorter that way than
trying to figure out what the **** FP is doing under the sheets. Maybe
Kathy can concur with this, having just taught an html class? Add the time
it takes to undo an FP created site and you are probably talking a
substantial amount of time that could have been used another way (making
tacos/dancing in the streets/singing drinking songs).

what is a diehard?

depends on what they're selling. If they intend to use FP to create much
interaction, they're barking up the wrong tree. It's webbots depend on FP
extensions on the server and they offer very little in the way of
customization.
I foresee that the next FP will probably have database access tools
built-in, but they'll still bite because they'll be made for the FP
audience.</snide>
