I will have to check that out.

What about imageMagick ? I have that on my NT machine and do things from 
the command line. It was able to compress my jpeg's better than PaintShop 
Pro and it also does a lot of other things. I just haven't been able to set it up on 
a virtual server yet. It has a Perl interface.
