Interesting... not sure what might cause that. Apart from the menu.js script, the
page also references one called resize.js, which forces a reload if the browser
window has been resized, but that doesn't call a meta-refresh, it just refreshes the
window object... hmm.
In looking at the code on the Netscape site, I note that my reference to menu.js is
slightly different from theirs, in that I had no spaces between the open and close
script tags, i.e., I had:
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript1.2" SRC="menu.js"></SCRIPT>
...whereas they had
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript1.2" SRC="menu.js">
</SCRIPT>
I changed my code accordingly and re-uploaded
(http://www.almonte.com/sosb/index.html)... wonder if that'll make any
difference? Not sure why it would, but when you get into the rarefied world of
CSS1 and JS 1.2, who knows? :)

Yes... I noticed in the library file (menu.js) that the default font
size seems quite large (14pt), though it seems to display a fair bit
smaller in NS 4.x. When I reduced it to 10pt, it was illegible at
800x600 -- also weird.
