Hi Don,
Thanks for responding.
Can you explain what each of the three section of code accomplish?
My guess is...
*1* Puts the advertisement 'up' using a standard js construct, but
what does "w3adJIIIIYJI" do?
*2* Does the 'Branding' using layers and a server side script
"/cgi-bin/branding"
*3* Runs a test for browsers that support js 1.2 but what does
SRC="/include/branding/default_ns.js"
accomplish assuming the browser supports 1.2.
*1*
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript">
<!--
window.open("http://www.geocities.com/ad_container/pop.html
?cuid=10201&keywords=
EnchantedForest", "w3adJIIIIYJI", "width=515,height=125");
//-->
</SCRIPT>
*2*
<DIV CLASS="GeoBranding" ID="GeoBranding"
STYLE="position:absolute;top:1;visibility:hide;" ALIGN="right">
<A HREF="/cgi-bin/branding" TARGET="_top"><IMG
SRC="/images/branding/geocities.gif" ALT="Welcome to GeoCities!"
BORDER="0"></A><BR>
</DIV>
*3*
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript1.2" SRC="/include/branding/default_ns.js">
</SCRIPT>

Good judgment comes from experience. Experience comes from poor judgment.
