This was the most astonishing piece of brain-dead, unclear-on-the-
concept spam I've ever encountered. OK... first, you don't spam mailing
lists, as anyone with 20 seconds experience on the net and a little
common sense should know.
Second. Once having spammed a list, you don't compound the offence by
including attachments. Especially not 150K worth of MS Word files (!!!!!)
Third. Assuming that you have severe masochistic leanings and therefore
still go ahead and commit the above crimes against netiquette, then set
the bloody attachments up properly. Out of perverse curiosity I did
indeed save and open the attachments (yes, I macro-virus-scanned them
first), and discovered that the intro letter was a template for a mail-
merge, so Word spun its wheels for awhile looking for the required merge
file. DOH!
And all this from a "business" that uses a freebie yahoo.com mailing
address to promote its supposed expertise in finding us IT consulting, erm,
"oppurtunities". Unbelievable.
I sent M. Kori a rather brisk reply off-list presenting some, shall we say,
*frank* appraisals of his marketing techniques, then killfiled him. Au revoir.
