I used to have on of these too.  Best darn toy I ever had--probably the 
number one influence on my future geekdom, such as it is.

Went out to find one recently for my little bro, and they've really 
changed the set.  Cheap construction, less analog projects and poor 
substitution of less-than-useful digital projects that didn't seem to 
teach half the lessons the old ones did.  was greatly disappointed to see 
such a great thing was no longer available.
