I learnt my lesson with the first site I was ever involved with - a mail
order site for Time Magazine, inc. I used it for quite a while, then the
venture was closed and the site went with it. Now I maintain a
fully-functional copy of all my sites on zip disks and on my presentation
notebook, plus a make colour printouts and laminate them for hard copy. (I
know this isn't truly representative when you're dealing with dynamically
created sites, but it gives an idea of the overall design and construct of
the site). I prefer to demo stuff in person anyway. Besides, most of the
sites I've been involved with since coming to IBM are sitting behind
firewalls and not accessible to the outside anyway.

Yep, I'm still alive. Just horrendously busy.
