Because my Mac is supported by a checkbook with many competing projects
(I do need to keep my Jeep running!!!), I find that GraphicsConverter
does a respectable job for a very low shareware price.
If you have the budget, Suzanne is correct: Photoshop and ImageReady
are the way to go.
