I take exception with the way you have edited the thread to make it appear
as if the cookies comment is attributable to me. Actually, my reply to
George's original questions was about the use of Java.
Secondly, I - and I think most others responding to his question -
understood that he meant that he wanted to track the originating site, not
the referring site. As far as I am aware, referrer logs will on show the
referring site, not the originating site. (Of course, I could be wrong.
I've looked at lots of server logs in my time though).
