ACtually, we had gales and flooding all last week. And on Sunday night,
when we returned home from dinner, we found our Bull Terrier had brought us
a present - a dead, half-eaten wallaby (like a small kangaroo) which smelt
like it had been dead for about 3 days. He was so proud! So then we had to
lock him in the house, put the carcass into a plastic garbage bag and take
it about 2 km up into the forest and dump it (bringing home the garbage
bag, of course). Any less and he'll smell it and go get it again.
Guess it was his birthday present to me.
