it's interesting how many people i know who are doing much the same thing.
not working on a book per se, but falling off the map for a while after
leaving a job. i have a in Europe who's gone walkabout for three months,
specifically to do some head clearing and soul searching before diving back
into the professional grinder. a couple others in the states either have
done or a are planning to do the same.
grab some freedom for all of us while you're out there, and don't come back
until you're ready. ;-)
