Well, one of the Boeing 2nd level managers moved mountains and I've been
shifted to a different (firmer) budget line.
She's a friend of my Boeing BMW motorcycle bud, Jim Horton, and an (auto)
BMW mechanic/racer. Another Leo. Told me Wednesday she was expecting me to
"walk on water" based on the personal recommendations that had come in <g>
[primarily from my customers].
So I still have Boeing work. Effective 4:20 pm thursday (literally under the
wire). Basically doing the same thing -- supporting database-to-web views
for engineers and the FAA and (new, need to build site) suppliers. Same
group; just different "boss."
Am taking off til the 31st ... after that, at least I'll have time to
finish the things I'm working on now. You can do a helluva lot under duress
-- but there's a price to be paid. I need a massage and a stress relief.
[And I *HAD* a massage tonight before bottling beer!]
