Cool! The pieces moved nicely considering I'm going at modem speed today.
I think you need to do a game. In the Tex Murphy CD-ROM games, there are
often torn up notes that need to be re-assembled to get the clue.
Any of you seen the site for the TV show "The Pretender"? It has an ongoing
series of games on its web site that are based on the TV show's events.
Some of the games don't work (the one that drives me crazy has a screen of
text that never goes away, so you can't see the game pieces and just have
to click randomly) but it's still fun. Heavy use of frames in the game
section, but for this I think it works. (Text appears in the bottom frame
as you click on various things in the game window -- you can also change
the bottom frame to show how many clues you've successfully found.) I think
this is the right URL to take you to the game:
http://www.nbc.com/thrillogy/pretender/adventure/ (you may need to tack
"season2/" on the end). IE has a better time dealing with the fames, Java,
and JavaScript on this site than NS, so be warned.
