Hey, Tribe -- was pointed to an article on "drifting layers" at (
http://developer.netscape.com/openstudio/tech/index_frame.html?content=/docs
/technote/dynhtml/drift/index.html ). When I got there, I found out that's
what the JavaScripted/DHTML floating graphics like the Geocities watermark
are called. So we can now all tell our clients that we can indeed do
drifting layers. (Thanks in part, of course, to our own Mr. Eades'
experiments earlier this month.)
Also, those of you running 4.0 browsers will notice that the NS site uses
those Javascripted menu popups some folks on the list have been discussing
-- just run your cursor over the links in the left column to see them. I'm
sure the instructions are in the site somewhere.
Drifting layers...sounds like snow to me, which is a nice thought in this
toasty autumn.
