See nothing there I've ever heard about, good or bad.

ViewSonic has always been good to me on the low end.  Local LUG members
are touting Hitachi and Samsung trinitron knock-offs of late.  Supposed
to be cheap and good quality, and they integrate nicely with Linux
(i.e., drivers work very well).
