Hee -- gawd, I just came *real* close to an embarrassing faux pas on a
site I'm doing... we were about to sign it off and post it to the Web after
months of work, which included numerous proofreadings by various people;
at the last possible moment, as I was checking something else entirely, I
saw amongst my instructions for completing a query form:
"LICK THE BUTTON BELOW TO SUBMIT YOUR QUERY"
Gack, sputter, etc... I surely did have some entertaining visions for a
fleeting moment of obedient newbies slathering their tongues across their
monitors, and grumbling when nothing happened... goodness.
Click, lick -- close enough :)
