I believe so. While I think there are ISAPI and NSAPI interfaces, it still
is probably OS-specific.

With the usertrack module, the cookie format is pre-defined. You control
only on/off, when it expires, and where/how it is logged.

And catch many people unaware; the WebTrends tracking module does not make
it obvious that it does its magic via cookies, so you have
webmasters/docmasters wondering where the heck these strange cookies are
coming from when all they did was install some stupid log analysis software...
