Well I'll try to be more precise. Let me know if you need this info
NOW or I have a couple of day so I can send the EXACT actual
dimension and the format of the TXT converted and the time it
takes and if I can continue to use the DB while the new DB is
being converted.

Mumble... 130Mb at a rate of 1.7Mb /sec= 1.3 minutes at a rate of
3Mb/sec=45 sec... here in italy 128Mb of RAM cost about 170$ :-)
I think MS SQL will cost MORE.
This solution may seem idiot but maybe it's not.

I'll give a look to our ASP source code to understand if it's well
written, how it succeed to convert from txt to SQL etc...
But it seem that CF is doing a better work than MS SQL since you
obtain results in 2-3 mins while we get result in 5 with a steroidized
machine... anyway I'll check because in this case the difference
between 3min and 5 min could be relevant for you.

Well I'm really a newbie with DB and Internet (less than 2
months)... I've started using internet less than 2 years ago. I've
been a web designer/consultants for about 1 year and a half.
I'm al little bit shy :-) This list is frequented by veterans...

"Ubergruppen Fuhrer"... fortunately I don't have "Ubergruppen
Fuhrer" so I can laugh behind your shoulder ;-)
