No, but I'm thinking about installing opalescent panes in all my windows!

Seriously, the site has given me some inspriration for some scanning. I've
been trying to come up with a "leafy" background to go behind a poem, but
everything I've tried has been too busy. However, it might work if my
background wasn't an actual pattern (like a leaf) but more like these folks'
"opalume" colors. Maybe I'll try scanning in some green 7up bottles.

I've done very few sites that used any sort of a pattern as a background --
most of the sites I've worked on have had a two-color (left side bar)
background with both parts a solid color (black bar, white main area, blue
bar, cream main area, etc.). Anyone on the list had good success with
textured/patterned backgrounds where the page remained readable even on bad
monitors? I seem to remember someone in the Canadian contingent had a nice
Canada leaf for the background of a site....
