Hi all,

I need programming help. I have a text file with various text notes and
also included are various lengths URL addresses all stringed together one
long wrapped text file. If you look at the contents of M$explorer
Temporary Internet Files (under DOS) you will see the 'index.dat' file and
it contains something similar - imbedded URLs and other characters.

In my files, I want to extract all URLs that start with a 'http://'
(obviously) but my problem is trying to work out the length of the URL,
URLs could have any length and ending with or without a DOT extension. I
can't assume anything between one http: and before another is a valid URL
either.

Many thanks
