Right, but I don't think Starr can grant her immunity from that.  He's a
federal prosecutor.  He can keep her from going to jail for being a
partner in perjury, but my old law school instincts (and crim law was
something I spent all of 3 minutes thinking about, to qualify those
instincts for you) tell me that such an offense isn't related to Starr's
authority, and the local prosecutors could make her quite miserable
without crossing his path . . .

If he gave her blanket immunity from all crimes she may have comitted
he's a bigger idiot than I previously thought . . . while I enjoy
thinking about ithat possibility, I don't think his power goes that far 
;)
