Hello all... just wondering how a couple of things I've been trying will work
on others' systems. The site in question is a personal one, a slide show of
my vacation last month, and not intended for general consumption; thus it
takes fer-freakin-ever to fully display, I fear (pre-loading a bunch of
JPEGs, etc.)
However, I'm curious to know if (a) the slide show Javascript stuff works
on other platforms (uses rollovers, but no layers or other DHTML stuff);
and also how the RealAudio file sounds. This latter is some music I wrote
on my synth, then encoded as RealAudio via my AWE 64 card. Sounds OK
at this end (though some of my playback levels are pretty iffy, I'm working
on that)... just wanted to know if it streams OK on other systems, and
whether the music is even marginally listenable :)
Feedback will be appreciated. Again, it is reeaall slow to load, and
patience will be a decided virtue. Ta.
