Very likely. I've recently run into a similar problem with the site
I manage for the Rochester Bach Festival. Updated the site on a
Monday with information on this year's festival. No problems for
several days. Then, on Thursday (one day before the first concert of
the festival) the site breaks. Some visitors to the main URL (mostly
west coast people) get nothing at all. Others (primarily local
folks) get the pages for LAST YEAR's festival, which I had moved to
the archive section of the site. A few (primarily east coast people)
get the current page, but with none of the graphics---and none of the
links are active. <Grrrrrr>
I managed to get an emergency page up, so folks had the basic info on
the main concert and a # to phone for tickets. Now that the rush is
over, I'll go back and dissect the thing and figure out what's wrong
(or post the URL with a plea for help 8^} ). I, too, suspect a
caching problem, but it seems to be geographic, rather than limited
to a specific browser/server location.
