<RANT WITH REASON> This is a very *bad* idea. It breaks one of the most
basic web user interface conventions. Just don't do it. Frankly, it's
foolish in the extreme, for a variety of reasons which Kathy will no doubt
elucidate  :>)


Related comment: it makes me nuts when a web page displays some plain text
underlined <u></u> that is NOT a link. Amazingly, I see this on major sites
that should know better! Here's an astonishing example:

go partway down the page to here, this is not a link but it's underlined:

On Symantec's site! They should know better...
