>I had a strange client-related thing happen awhile back. Art director sent >an attached Word file with copy written by her boss on his PC. When I >opened the file on my Mac, interspersed among paragraphs of the ad copy >were strange fragments and snippets of text that looked as if they came >from her boss's very personal journals or diaries. My client friend and I >decided that we simply wouldn't mention the problem to her boss. That's not a bug, it's a feature! In older versions of Word, one could "undo" a saved file and thereby see previous versions of the document from other people. It was intended to allow group collaboration and editing, but some ad agencies often internally use insulting names for their clients, so it led to embarassments. ___________________________________________________ Andreas Ramos [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.andreas.com ____________________________________________________________________ -------------------------------------------------------------------- Join The Web Consultants Association : Register on our web site Now Web Consultants Web Site : http://just4u.com/webconsultants If you lose the instructions All subscription/unsubscribing can be done directly from our website for all our lists. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
