Urb:
Most of the click-thru banner networks are working in the $.10 to $.50
range per click for general traffic. The networks I've looked at are
Burst, FlyCast, ClickTrade and SafeAudit. Check out Mark Welch's
bannerads site for more details on the networks (
http://www.markwelch.com/bannerad/ ). All have different commission
structures so it's tough to compare just the advertised click-thrus -
you have to apply the adjustments to get your net revenue per click.
I'm using Burst, ClickTrade, and SafeAudit on my site at
http://www.artandcraftshows.net and netting somewhere between $1.50 and
$3 CPM for the inventory I pass to the networks. If you have the time
and energy to do direct sales, you should be able to do much better.
