And how unfortunate that is.

The real-life person was someone who appreciated simplicity and elegance of
design, and whose insights into programming problems were amazing.
Contrast this with the ADA language, a gargantuan monstrosity that only
a military bureaucrat could love.

Perhaps in the future someone will favor the lady by naming something
else -- far better designed and implemented, I should hope -- after her.
