Being a resident of the outer fringe boonies of the Pacific Northwest, I
can certainly understand why someone would feel the need to provide a
promotional boost to fellow developers in our area. Work can be pretty hard
to come by in these off-the-beaten path markets and we need all the help we
can get.

Anyway, you can't say they didn't warn you, because here's what they say
right at the top of the page:

"drunktank was created to showcase the talents and
 drive of independent web developers in the pacific
 northwest. "

I guess the moral of the story is, "if all else fails, read the instructions."
