it all day long building web app after web app.....the book she mentioned I
picked up as a beginner to Cold Fusion...very nice. You'll find CF easy to
use if you have any kind of database/programming/scripting experience.

Yes, Jack -- the actual <.cfm> pages are the same regardless of the platform
that the Application Server is running on.
Chad, if you need tutorials on writing applications (calling CF server) I
highly recommend _Cold Fusion Web Application Construction Kit_ - it's
tutorial-like. Also tutorials online at http://www.allaire.com/. And q-a
board.
