I think I tend to look for failures -- whether they're my own
of someone elses` -- because I'm determined not to repeat mistakes
that have already been made. I'm much less concerned about going
out and making new mistakes, which is why I tend to pay a lot less
attention to success stories.
I consider this excellent training for my curmudgeonly years, when
I plan to sit on my front porch in a stained white t-shirt and baggy
pants, drinking Budweiser and yelling "Hey! You kids! Get off my
lawn!". ;-) ;-) ;-)
