A problem I have with not using the WWW addy's that be be a little bit
esoteric:
1) sandyfeet.com is a Internet Domain
2) www.sandyfeet.com is an Internet Host
3) A computer is a HOST, not a domain
I mean, when you talk about sandyfeet.com , Are you referring to your
domain or to
the web server ?
It does become an issue when you have to deal with auditing as I do with
a domain
I do consulting with. I personally prefer to NEVER have the domain
name be a valid
internet host (yes, currently my personal domain soffen.com DOES have
the soffen.com
as a valid host, I am remedying this).
When I see just a domain name on an ad or whatever (IMNSHO) it looks
wrong, incomplete.
I feel the same way when I see a URL missing the trailing /.
