Mac video runs at a significantly brighter gamma than Wintel. The
uninformed PC designer will produce a web site that looks incredibly
washed out on the average Mac. The uninformed Mac designer's site will be
very dark and muddy when viewed on the run-of-the-mill PC. I suppose the
best solution would be to compromise and aim for the middle ground.

All I can say is that must be one odd Mac. I've *never* seen a Wintel box
whose video made me ashamed of my Apples, and I've not been underexposed
(I have 2 Macs & 3 PCs -- one guess which 40% of the collection does 99%
of the work).

Better make it three.
